Gilberto Gil opens Saint John party in João Pessoa

The festival begins on 21 June and will have attractions for nine days in several locations around the city. The opening will be the position of Gilberto Gil, who will have the show at "Ponto de cem reis" in the center of the capital.

Paraíba Palace Hotel, now is the new shopping mall

The former Paraíba Palace Hotel, located in downtown João Pessoa, now is the newest mall in the capital, The PARAÍBA PALACE SHOPPING. There are three floors, 100 stores, plus food court, and lifts.

PARAÍBA ACHIEVEMENT AWARD FOR BEST NATIONAL DESTINATION OF THE YEAR

Paraíba won the prize for best national destiny in 2013 edition of the competition "Top 10 Tourism" held for 28 years by Brazil Travel News magazine. The ceremony was attended by managers, entrepreneurs and representatives of agencies and airlines in Brazil and abroad.

 

Governor Ricardo Coutinho also received the trophy Personality of the Year chosen by a jury of journalists and industry professionals by entrepreneurial, innovation, performance and success in achievements in the area of tourism. The group also honored political Travel News, Tourism secretaries, businessmen, employees of trade and specialist press nationwide.

 

Ricardo mentioned that important works such as the Convention Center, the edict calling for the installation of Polo hotels in Cabo Branco, sanitation and tourist towns, accesses asphalt and reform Dinosaur Valley demonstrate the momentum experienced by the sector in Paraíba . He reminded that participation in trade fairs and investment in the dissemination of the attractions of the state in the Southeast and South regions were essential factors for this recognition of the national media.
