Children’s Day is celebrated on different days in many countries around the world. On June 1, several countries, such as Portugal, celebrate an International Children’s Day. Other countries, such as Australia, celebrate a Universal Children’s Day on November 20. Many nations declare days for children on other days. Here in Brazil we celebrate on October 12.

Colored cotton renews production in Campina Grande PB

 Campina Grande, city known as the 'Brazilian Liverpool', research a new variety of cotton that should be placed on the market in the coming years. "We are trying to select other shades in brown color" Luiz Paulo de Carvalho the researcher responsible for the project said.

Lovers of street racing can now start training to run along the João Pessoa beach. Event organizers expect to meet with athletes on the Cabo Branco beach, which will be held on November 23.

The Historic Centre of João Pessoa is located in the city of João Pessoa, capital of the Brazilian state of Paraiba. Was recognized as a national heritage of Brazil on December 6, 2007, having been entered in the books of Tombo Historical and Archaeological, Ethnographic and Landscape, Institute of Historical and Artistic Heritage (Iphan).
