Cabo Branco Lighthouse

The Cabo Branco Lighthouse has a unique triangular shape in the country. Its designers had intended to represent a plant sisal, a plant that fostered one of the most enduring cycles and profitable in state of Paraíba.

The Cabo Branco Lighthouse is located on a cliff on the beach in Cabo Branco, in the district of the same name, in João Pessoa, capital of the state of Paraíba. It is located about 800 meters north of Ponta do Seixas, the easternmost point of mainland Brazil.

A survey by the IPEA (Institute of Applied Economic Research) showed that the Northeast region of Brazil has the largest number of people who consider themselves happy.

If it were a country, the region would be in 9th place - between Belgians and Finns - in the overall classification.

The IPEA reported that Brazil was in 16th place in the ranking of happiness compared to other 147 countries in a poll by Gallup World Poll
