THE BEACHES OF JOÃO PESSOA

The tranquility of waterfront in João Pessoa brings the feeling of a peaceful spa. The infrastructure, however, reminds us that we are in a capital of a state by the sea, with beaches that offer kiosks organized and clean sands, as well as parking facilities and showers. The services are not limited to urban beaches as Tambaú and Cabo Branco, with boardwalks perfect for running and walking. Also extend to the beautiful and wild beaches of the South, as Coqueirinho, surrounded by palm trees and cliffs; Tabatinga, with one of the nicest booths in the region, and Tambaba, the first official naturist beach in the Northeast, all accessible by newest PB-008 highway, toward Pernambuco. And also continue on the northern coast, where the best 'peaks' (sites with good waves) for surfing.

TAMBAÚ

The coconut and gameleiras - small trees with pink flowers - are the hallmarks of Tambaú quite busy due to the proximity of hotels and warm waters. To attract visitors, the tents are betting on the soundtrack.

CABO BRANCO

Favorite of locals from João Pessoa, the Cabo Branco beach is quite extensive and filled with comfortable tents and distant from each other. The fine sand and beat attracts professional and amateur athletes in beach volleyball, which find refreshment in the clear waters, gentle and warm.

COQUEIRINHO

The name in the diminutive - Coqueirinho - gives no idea of the real beauty of the beach, full of coconut trees and colorful cliffs. The waves and the freshwater rivers attract sunbathers.

BARRA DO GRAMAME

The attractions are on account of the winds perfect for kitesurfing and Dewey's Bar, which serves the region's most refreshing drinks such as pineapple and coconut. Another pearl is a small river that forms a piscininha perfect for relaxing.

TAMBABA

One of the most beautiful beaches in the region, Tambaba is the first official naturist beach in the Northeast. So it was divided into two parts: the first - tiny, with rocks and pools of blue-green waters - is not allowed to be naked. In the second, undressing is required.
